How do I install XBMP to my hard drive

Firstly you need the Evox dash so you can store stuff on your hard drive and FTP to the Xbox.

Once you've got the Evox dash set your IP in the settings menu and FTP on to this IP with something like FlashFXP.

Now all you need to do is drag the directory that it is on your PC to your Xbox.

Check out the - "XBOX FAQs modchip, ftping etc" sticky at the top of the Xbox forum mate, there are details on cables and the basics in there. If your starting from scratch you might want to post what you have already learnt or what state you Xbox is in to get the best assistance - Im confused - is a bit TOO basic.

Do you know what a Evox Dash is ?

Is your Xbox modded and if so with what chip?
(doesnt really matter but can be handy to know)

What version of XBMediaplayer are you installing and what are you wishing to do with it - e.g play movies/mp3 from DVD ? or stream from your PC etc.

Dude, I'm a newbie too, got my box hooked up about a month ago. For real these guys are here to help you, trust me.
