Downloaded a game that didn't work? Possible Solution here!

Hi Folks!

Maybe someone posted something like this before... if so: sorry..

Anyway, some of you may have experienced problems with downloaded Games. They won't start or hang on start.

First thing you should try is to disable IGR (In Game Reset) in your EvolutionX dashboard (System Tools->Settings).

I have turned it off indefinitely. It makes more Troubles than it's worth.... :cheese:

Games I know for certain that don't work with IGR activated:
- Mercedes Benz World Racing
- Vexx
- BMX XXX (for this Game, a Patch is available that makes it working with IGR activated...)

So whenever a Game doesn't work even if all rar files are ok, try to disable IGR!

Thanks for the tip BuffyS We need to keep in mind though we're not able to get into downloable games (i.e pirate software) but I'm sure your tip will be useful.

I know, we all use only original Games here. They just run faster from a bigger Harddisk...
And if you misplaced your original DVD, it sometimes helps to download the Game...

Anyway, pirated copies sometimes have other Reasons to fail. (poor packing,...).
The Thing is that you have this launch Problems with original Games out of the green Cover too.
I have BMX XXX here for example and it definitely doesn't work with IGR activated...
