its cos the numbers always a multiple of 9, and all the multilpe of 9 up to 81 are the same- you cant actually get 99 or 90 as 99 = 9+9 = 18 .: 99-18 = 81, the highest amount you could get.

Christ, took me ages to work out that the symbols change with every try.

Spot on m8, all multiple's of 9 upto 81 and every symbol is the same.

10-19 = 9
20-29 = 18
30-39 = 27
40-49 = 36
50-59 = 45
60-69 = 54
70-79 = 63
80-89 = 72
90-99 = 81

Clever to a point, just goes to show how easily we can be decieved.

i dont get it, the symbols are different so how does it know which symbol is the right one?

EDIT Ahhhh i see...i didnt realise it swapped the symbols around each time.
