Static IP
I'm a long time subscriber to BT Business 500 and have enquired about getting a static IP address.
They're quoting £100 + £10/month on top of current charges, even though they're offering a free static IP to new business accounts who request it.
Has anyone managed to get one for free?
Any suggestions welcome.

Threaten to take your business elsewhere m8 and see if that changes their mind, I can't believe they are ready to charge you.
I'm with Zen (www.zenadsl.co.uk) and I'm paying £29.99 a month inc vat for a 512k line including 8 static IP addresses with no setup fee.
I will never understand why some companies do that (Pipex are the same). It is just as easy (if not easier) to give you a static IP rather than a DHCP assigned one.
