I am thinking about buying a power bank (http://www.semsons.com/powerbank.html) from the US, the cost is $39.99. Does anybody know how much tax I will have to pay on this?
Cheers,
JMC

if u know someone in the USA send it to them and get them to post it to u as a "present" *cough*
then u dont have to pay any tax, my guess is around £7-£10 tho
there is a £5 admin charge + tax i think
I agree, it will save you a bit.Originally posted by MajorFU

I used to buy dvd's a few years back now and the average box contained 10 or so and not having any close friends (well ones I could trust) I ordered via the usual shipping methods and the duty on them was always around £20+!
ok, thanks. I kinda guessed it would be around £7-10 more.
