Well, someone has tried to do us over again, this time for about £1500. He has now left the company and the company we were dealing with no absolutely nothing about the money he owed us for returns etc

Anyway, the guys name is Ian Knowles, he used to work for Swift Electrical in Stoke and was their main sales rep, so you may have also been visited by him if you run or work in an electical store. He is from the Manchester Area, is short and balding, and this is not a joke.

I have his old phone number (mobile) 07768 616657 but thats now dead. I could do with a new mobile number, home number or address for him. He also sells on ebay, and I am currently trying to find a user name for him, as I know what type of products he sells.

Can any of you guys help as I would really like to "talk" to him

silly question, but have you tried using the latest UK info disk (if that is his real name)?

Providing the goods he has done you for are legit (not that I am saying that they aren't). Why not get the pigs involved, thy will be able to recover personal information from Swift (address, next of kin etc) providing there is grounds for prosecution.

Failing that, was his car a company car? If not you might be able to do a trace on the plates..
