skydigi advice please

after a bit of drunken websurfing the other day, i ordered sky for a quid (plus another 38 a month till they decide to hike the price). i am however a bit dubious and paranoid about leaving it plugged to the phone line. how long before they get touchy about it being unplugged, and what numbers does the box dial? am i allowed to hit the thing with a mallet if it disturbs me on a phone or internet call? where in the contract does it say sky will reimburse you for all phone costs this thing runs up after they've already bled you dry etc?:!:

dont worry m8 it dials at silly times and if it senses when u r trying to use the phone it drops its call in your favour

i think u need to keep it plugged in for a year but mine has been plugged in for 3 and no probs here

i've put a 00000 dialling prefix on the system now so the box IS connected to a working landline capable of making outgoing calls etc, but it can't be dialling out without my say so (i hope!). i don't even let MYSELF use the landline without permission, so i'll be bug****d if i let murdoch do wtf he likes with it. and btw I dial out at silly times. thanx for the info, MajorFU.
