I heard a very bad rumour from a mate who knows a local sports writer from The Evening Post who said that Robbinson to Arsenal is a done deal.
So in the summer say goodbye to the best young and next England keeper.

Wouldn't surprise me m8............................![]()
Titsdale will probably swap him for Kanu or some other useless spanner.
You will more than likely see Seb Fray from Parma on his way to Arsenal.
Keepers are the real comodity in the Premiership...
- Plan for Tomorrow - Live for today - Hail to the King Baby -
Good news for the Gunners if it's true, wouldn't surprise me after all the sh1t that's gone down @ Elland Road.
And we know Arsene wanted a young English understudy for Seaman when he bought Richard Wright but we all know how that turned out
Bit of a kick in the teeth for Stuart Taylor though, he's played well in Seaman's absence.
Edit: Frey would be good too - everyone's a winner

Paul Robinson is currently the best English goalkeeper and he is still young. He would walk into any club in the Premier League and become there number 1.
Yeah, it would definitely be curtains for Seaman if Robinson or Frey comes in.
i heard the valencia keeper that plays keep-ups with aftershave bottles may be on his way to utd
also that viera to real rumour has reared its head again along with pires for £35m
i suppose with the spanish league being the best iin europe it must be tempting for any merc in the prem
Hope the Arse do offload them to tone down the arrogance factor a tad.
haha 'merc'...Vieira and Pires will be playing for Arsenal next season (and hopefully beyond). How is the Spanish league the best in Europe??Originally posted by MajorFU

english footy is good, but the spanish is easily the best, and the italian league has been looking good this year as well. We are at best 2nd or maybe even third right now.
just look at the teams that made it through to the 1/4's of the CL:
3 Spanish
3 Itallian
1 English
1 Dutch
These figures clearly speak for themselves you just have to be willing to listen.
If Arsenal, Newcastle and say Chelsea are better than AC/Inter Milan, Juve, Real, Barca or Valencia etc then why aren't they in the CL right now??
However for me the prem is easily the most exciting but then i'm sure thats what everyone else would say about their own league![]()
What do you mean 'spoken like a true gooner'? You are by far the most arrogant person I have encountered on this forum, which is ironic considering your endless tirades about Arsenal being arrogant.Originally posted by MajorFU

For my money, the Italian league is the best at this moment in time. Nowhere in my post did I say that the English league was the best.
Wakey wakey m8.
i guess its all about opinions
mine is that the spanish have proved themselves by consistantly having many teams getting into the later stages of the CL for the last 5 years and with spanish teams having won it a fair few times in the last 5 years
i dont know whether u same the juve v ac milan game on the weekend but although it was exciting at times the goals were pretty flukey and it was not exactly free flowing
watch a barca v real game and you see a better game every time
but this could be worth a poll so lets just see what eveyone else thinks
unless of course you thinks thats being too arrogant

I'm honoured mate, a poll dedicated to me...it brings a tear to my eye, it really does
I agree that the Spanish and English leagues are far more entertaining but if we're talking purely in terms of 'which league has the best teams overall' then it's got to be the Italian league at the moment.
Sure, the Italians play some boring football but if it was possible to make the Italian clubs play the Spanish clubs 100 times then I think the Italian clubs would win more games.
I think an Italian team will win the CL this year.

Just seen on Jonathan Pearce's Football Night on C5 that Paul Robinson has been spotted househunting in that there London village!
Great news for Arsenal
^_^
lol! i saw that too and it also showed that the press is suggesting the same thing..... looks almost a done deal now.
thing is with only a £12m budget on transfers in the summer i would have thought that defence is the priority
arsenal seem to lack depth at the back 2 or 3 injuries and it all starts to look very shakey
united have coped with 3 defensive injuries at the same time as 3 midfield injuries very well, although if ruud got a serious injury we are fukked
Just read this on the Leeds official website:
ROBBO: "YES I AM HOUSE HUNTING"
by Graham Walker
EVERY now and then a story comes along in the press that raises a laugh, and today's paper claims that Paul Robinson is paving the way for a move to Arsenal in the summer after house-hunting in London, is no exception.
The Sun's back page is graced by a picture of Robbo clutching an estate agents catalogue after yesterday's England training session, and immediately he's linked with a £5m summer move to the Gunners.
Robinson though confirmed to us today that he was indeed looking at apartments in the London area, but was keen to put United fans fears aside by assuring them there was nothing sinister in his motives.
"I can confirm I looked at some properties and I was viewing them purely as an investment," said the England keeper.
"I am very happy at Leeds and happy to stay there."
The 23-year-old recently added a further year to his contract and is now tied to Elland Road until 2006.
Robinson has though recently moved house. He sold his Harrogate house in the same road as former boss David O'Leary and has moved to a farmhouse just outside York - less than a month ago.
Having seen how much he enjoyed that experience, this reporter doubts very much that he's looking forward to moving again so soon!
Robinson is also very attached to his two big Rottweilers, Tyson and Molly, and said that if he did buy a place in St John's Wood it would not be somewhere he would live anyway as he would have no place to run his dogs.
now there's an original name for a rotwieller "TYSON"
