TW F*cking Up
Chaps,
My box is unmodded - and I pay for my TV.
Howver when I changes channels it goes all screwwy with the channels being muted / tv guide turining itself on ?
Sometimes it changes channel and theres no picture - any ideas WTF is going on ? I'v tried turing the box off and on to no avail.

change the batteries in your remote and i bet that will sort out the problem!!!
already tried that one - im gonna hit the box with a hammer :-)

not sure if this helps but pull the power cord from the back of the box, leave it off for 30 seconds then plug the power cord back in the box
Failing that you should contact telewest and have an engineer look at your box, you might need to have it replaced (should be free of charge if its subbed and you havent touched it!!!)
I had the sam problem not so long ago.
I changed the battries and it cured the problem.
Well it was the remote - must have had one beer spill to many :-)
Swapped it with my C&W one - problem solved !
