    Default *.iso.exe

    I downloaded a filed (with kazaa), the file ends with the above extenxs, it does not work, if i directly double click on it .... do i have to convert the file?, is it corrupted ( so i wated my time)?...

    Usually ISO images end in just .iso - the .exe suggests it's either compressed and is self uncompressing or it's fake..

    You do have an up to date virus scanner just in case right?

    You didn't say what happens when you double click it....

    thanks aido, my antivirus didnot detect anything, and the anti trojan either so i suspect i downloaded a 602 MB fake file.
    When i double click on it the dos window is display for a few sec and after its vanish.

    Might be trying to uncompress - open a command prompt and run it from in there so you can see what it says mate...

    rename the file to *.iso and open it with iso buster or daemon tools
    Sorry folks about the PSP history, I sold one at the price I bought to a mate and 2nd one I got some cash extra.

    it was there after all, thanks you guys

    The only question is why to use the *.iso, and not just compress the file with winzip o similar?

    Iso is an image made for burning... I said to use daemon to test if that worked, burn with nero
