Please could someone shed some light on this matter for me.
I bought a PAY AS YOU GO phone about 6 months ago on the orange network.The phone has now been lost,can i get another PAY AS YOU GO phone and keep the same number as the lost phone.if i can will both phones then recieve the same calls and text messages.
Im asking this because i need to keep the same number,but if anybody finds my lost phone,i don't want them to see my text messages

You may be able to get a replacement SIM Card with same numer, for a fee, off Orange, depending on circumstances (ie, if you're registered owner).
The other SIM will be blocked so only new one will work. However, if your phone is found, they will be able to read your stored messages on SIM &/or Phone.
