    Default z80 processor

    i am doing some coursework on the z80 processor, i know its an old one and god knows why we are doing it at col but we am lol so i need some information on it has i have not got a clue. i have been told that when the master system came out it was running on one of these,

    can anyhelp with some information or websites please

    Z80 is an excellent wee processor.. it has given me many hours of headaches :-)


    do a search on google.. numerous computers have used this processor like the Spectrum, and Sam Coupe and the Dragon (if I remember rightly). The Z80C is mostly used these days in embedded applications coupled with an ASIC (Application Specified Intergrated Circuit).

    i need information how it can store information in to sdifferent ports and then output an answer, i am fisning all codes but no actual answer

    the onformation i need is write and demonsrate how to program the z80 so that 2 numbers can be held in a simulated input port of the z80 microprocessorm then it output the final result to a simulated output port of the z80??

    Hmm... Sounds like a college project to me.. LOL !
