Judging for the details you have listed I would say it was definetly the version of winrar you are using, its the wrong version. If you read though your post its clearly that.

Freak- I was taking the piss as there is no details given what so ever - Chip version, bios version, IGR on/off error message etc etc.

read it , scratched head, read again thought WTF ? farted and came to the conclusion that without further details no constructive help could be given.

A little insight would be

The type of file you burnt ie iso or data , the burn proggi used, the speed burnt, the type of dvd drive your box has etc and not forgetting to mention if you know of any good looking lose women.
