This happened to me when I started using the F: drive on the standard hard drive. Was getting about 5mb/s then i got about 300kps.

I use a 120gig drive in it now and I get 5mb/s again.

Hi... just thought I'd lend some of my experiences here...

I'm using a crossover cable to my xbox with stock hdd.

Transfering from the xbox has always been blazing fast but writing to F: had always been slow (approx 300k/s). I had done tons of different things, trying different switches, upgrading evox, etc, but the problem remained.

I only realised that there was a problem (or not ) when i transfered a game save to E: it was going abt 4mb/s. So i tried transfering a huge file to E and hey... it was quick!

What i usually do now is transfer large files to E: and use the xbox file manager to transfer it to F:

Well I'm not sure if that helped at all, but anyway, good luck on ur quest for fast uploads !

Why use the evox ftp at all ?

Just hitch the box upto pc and use flashFxp .

What worked for me was upgrading the hard disk.
