Hi all!
Does anybody kno, if i need any special driver o software to burn a 800 MB CD?, I am using Nero, win 2000, and my toaster is a LITEON.
Thanks in advance
Nero 5.5 has 80- and 90-minute CD-R support so no problems there!
I still can not burn it. I have check:
http://www.greenspun.com/bboard/q-an...?msg_id=00AGjF
And follow the instructions but still can not burn, nero soft says that the device is to small...
any sugestions...
i think the problem your having is if the file you want to burn is 800mb in length it will not fit on a 90 min 800mb blank as you need space for the lead in lead out tracks so the file size would have to be approx 750 meg to fit
what i have found is it doesn't matter how big you tell nero the cd is it still looks at the size of the blank and determins if it will fit with overburn if it doesn't it will spit the disk out and ask for a larger disk
you could allways use a 99 min blank it would fit ok then
are there 99 min cd´s?.....
The problem is solved, i belive the cd´s were .s...t. cos i got another one´s today and they worked sooo..
infinity do 99 min blanks i use em for vcd's quite a lot of films fit
i havn't found a dvd / vcd player they are not compatable with yet so there doesn't seem to be a problem with em
Cosmica, could you tell me where I can get hold of these 99 Min. discs. Sound handy them. Cheers

i bought some localy but i'm sure if you do a search for infinity 99 min cdr's you should find some
or maybe one of the local computer fairs has them
or you could try this place
power up centre tel
01204 521290
they might have some left but he's not the cheapest shop on the market
I see, so infinity is a manufacturer not a shop, now it's clear, thanks for your help. I will do a google on that then. BTW 01204, that's Bolton isn't it? Just down the road from me.
