    Huns v Celtic(UEFA Cup Finalists)

27th April @ Castle Greyskull...Sombreros to be worn.

As Celtic are on a rollercoaster of European success,we're bound to beat the inbreds. Its fate.

2-1 to Ghods chosen people, and on to 3 in a row.(all despite the conspiracy of the SPL,Shuggie Dallas and the polis )

I think the Celtic will win tomorrow despite last week's performance against Hearts and Thursday night's performance against Boavista!

well its half time, were 2-0 up, aint looked gr8 but they aint running us into the ground.
there defence looks a shambles, although ours doesnt look gr8 its holding strong.

think larsson is starting to wake up after a slow start.

    1st goal
amorosu's foul was beyond belief, proper school boy error IMO.
Thompson kept his cool for the pen n slotted it home

    2nd goal
good ball from hartson to agathe in loads of space, pace took him away, little flick from "Ghod" to the feet of hartson and the ball back across the keeper didnt leave him with much chance of stopping it

apart from that they missed sum good chances, caniggia's lob, amoruso's header and de boers that he pulled widespring to mind and then there was a moment best describes as "comical" when the ball was pumped 50-60 yards and went rite through and hit the post(u really got to see it to believe it).

was gutted to see big rab get subbed after 8mins and i think hartson will av to watch his elbows as they are baying for his blood...lol

good to see the bbc show the lisbon lions lifting the trophy aswell, most of the english press decided to ignore the fact we got there, unlike when liverpool got there and they wouldnt stop mentioning it. they also showed a few wothers including the aberdeen and rangers lifting trophies, and a few defeats along the way

thats my view of the footy neway

not happy about the result but as we played shite and amo gave away a ridiculous penalty i cannot really complain.

    theres only one johnny hartson,
    theres only one johnny hartson
    he'll break your nose,
    if you stand too close
    walking in a hartson wonderland

As ever a very phsyical derby, with both sides throwing their weight around, but then, old firm matches never were games for the weak.

A great result, well deserved, enough to break any arrogance the huns might of had before the match.

At least no one was sent off

From a neuterals point of view it was a cracking game.

From a Celtic Supporters view I thought that we defended a little too deep in the 2nd half but fair play to MON in choosing to go with a 4-4-2 instead of the usual 3-5-2, that put a few cats in amongst the pidgeons and spoiled "Big Ecks" gameplan.

Personally I thought that Alan Thompson was immense and deserved the MOTM award and loathe to say it but I think that Hugh Dallas today proved why he is the top referee in this country as there was a couple of heated challanges that he dealt with effectively and sensibly without reaching for the red card.

    Celtics 2nd goal was superb.

    Hail Hail.

P.S. Good to see your not hiding Diablos - no matter how much we wind each other up you have went up a couple of places in my estimation today by posting right away and not hiding when it was easier to do so.

agree with that 99%, the other 1% was when moore booted larsson up in the air n then told him to get up

...dont like to say"I told you so",but I will anyway.

Great result for the Bhoys, made all the sweeter, considering the injuries, tiredness etc.
