    Default Case Fans

This is probably a stupid question, but what is the optimum cooling configuration for case fans. The PSU fan blows out from the case. while the case fan, I have sucking into the case. Is this the best, (for info the case runs at 35 deg c with XP2200).

    Thanks for any advice.

There is no recomended way to install case fans!

The most important thing is that the air flow must be good to allow the air to move arround the case.

a fan at the front near the bottom as an intake and one at the back as an exaust is the norm it all depends on the case you have to where you can install fans.

The case temps depend on the room temperature and what you have in the system if your room temp is 40C a temp of 35C is very good if your in a freezer at 0C and you case is 35 that is bad. normally your case is about 10C above room temp warmer if you have devices that run hotter than standard items ie scsi hardrives compared to IDE drives.

    Just experiment.
