As the subject says... I want to fdisk and reformat my old Xbox HDD and use it in a PC - I remember reading somewhere that it was either tricky or impossible... and just wanted to make sure.
Any info would be appreciated.

you need to unlock it first

AS 4me2 says - you can unlock an original drive IF you have the Xbox it came from still or you have backedup the key from it before. The locking/unlocking password is generated indiviually from a combination of things one of which is the Xbox motherboard hence you need the Xbox the drive came from to unlock it. Once its unlocked its as normal HD.
