personally i still think it could have been better
collosus would have been a better character to have in it for me but maybe xmen 3 will live up to expectations or the woverine film thats being talked about

Must say I quite enjoyed X2, particularly the amount of screen time given to the lovely Mystique. It did, however, feel a bit like too many cooks spoiling the broth. In the first movie it was very clear which characters were being focused on as the leads, but in this one the multiple plotlines meant that no characters were particularly dominant and so I didn't feel like I actually connected with any of them and none of them had a chance to develop.
I realise that this is just a big action blockbuster, so these quibbles are very minor really, but even no-brainer films like these can be enhances ten-fold with a great script or some character development.
Well, so long as Mystique continues to be granted as much attention in X3 I'll be a happy bunny!
