Outlook Express Problem

Someone at work has a problem with Outlook Express. His young son has tried to email a mate with several large MP3's attached on 56K Modem and after a few minutes PC locked up and he had to restart it. Now whenever he clicks on Outbox in Outlook Express, PC freezes. He thinks it must be this email in outbox, so is there anyway to delete it without going into outbox.

hi bud try running scan disk..sounds like have an error not email stuck lol
or even try windows file checker.
these would be my first choise with your problem

uninstall/reinstall OE... will sort it...
If you actually want to sort problem without resorting to that, you can go into the .dbx files and delete the outbox.dbx file (Back it up somewhere first!). When you next open OE, it should replace the file with an empty one, and your email will be gone. If it doesn't, then you need to copy one of the other .dbx files in that folder, and rename it to outbox.dbx....
Do a search for "outbox" or ".dbx" to locate the folder on your system.
