is anyone having problems w/ Wolfenstein...... im having the same problem as i had with NBA Street 2 and Red Faction 2, also i have my video settings on ntsc or watever it is......

Im playin it on pal setting on the selector.
Ive finished the first bit and saved no crashes.

Evilsloth .. If you havnt updated your chip bios practically all new games out now need to be patched due to the new media checks in the games. Im using an executer so I cant flash it. So to play the backup from hd I patch using this...

Just got this off the groups but it doesn't run. It's not an ISO, it's all the files separate. I've built an ISO using both Xiso and GDF but still no joy, just goes to the dash. Is there a patch or anything for it or am I doing something wrong?
try burning as a data disc in primo dvd m8, drag and drop all those files into the window then choose udf 128 in recording options.Originally posted by coogy

I have X2 4976.02 bios.....i thought that was the newest one...so do u still think it may be the bios though??

i dunno if thats the one im getting, im half way through getting it, its feckin huge, one thing i dont know tho, does it play from a dvd or is it a hard drive one again.
all these bigger games coming out recently looks like it MIGHT be time for me to upgrade my chip, although ill only do it if i really have to, me trusty old enigmah has served me well.

if its the cs-wolf version freaky it is an iso .. so play it from dvd yeah.

note - for some reason i activated the fps counter
but now that its there, it is always at 60fps unless you are in large outdoor parts then its about 45 - 50

Got it working now, thanks for the info guys. I used craxtion to patch default.xbe and build the iso, works a treat. Am I right in thinking that all new games need patching even if you run them off DVDR rather than HD? Up until now I thought you only needed to patch it if you wanted to run from HD. This might be why I had probs with this one, I never patched it in the first place.
What bios do u guys have??
i got the cs-wolf version, patched it with the patcher posted in this thread by elephantsoup and it works a treat.
anyway im using a pal box with old enigmah chip and the game runs just fine, graphics are superb, enjoying it so far.
cheers for postin the patcher m8, although crows would have worked aswell no doubt, just used that coz i seen it there

How is Xbox version compared to PC version??
