ntl error

Hi can enyone help i have a ntl cable box and on turning it on is reads error 4 is there a way to solve this prob if so how and also what would would cause this error ,thanks in advance

when u turn it on and u get the error is it plugged into the cable co's network,i had a simular error and when i pluged it into the network it went after a while after counting up some numbers on the front

hi m8 im sorry to say but ur box is wast of time keep it for spare parts unless u try and do a force update err4 its to do with ur software problems
