    primary slave drive failure error

I get this message sometimes when bootup pc.

But when i restart it doesnt show up.

However when using pc connected to ADSL router it randomly restarts on its own. But router is fine as other pcs have no probs with it.

Anybody got ne ideas to fix this?
Should i start backing up files or is this error not much 2 worry bout?

POST error messages stating that the drive has failed mean exactly that. Check the power & IDE connections and make sure they are tight, if they are OK then I would start backing up now.

You havent stated whether the primary slave drive is actually working or not ??? or maybe it has been disconnected but the bios is still looking for it. How many hard drives do you have in your machine ?

I had this problem once and the issue there was a faulty IDE cable, try replacing only cost a quid or so.
