Crashes

Hi ppl wondering whether any of you guys have had a similar prob to what im getting now. When I try to install anything either from cd or hdd my system resets itself mid install, and boots up again. I ve tried everything I know but still the same problem. plz help if yopu can

Sounds to me like a memory address hole quite high up in the memory.
