Newbie need guidance

Sorry this is a long one Right got a ditv 1000 disabled t/back found boxkey on database as stb is cr3 and rom 10 card is a3c Got the nagra serial from engineers menu.The stb is from my area so the net id is correct.I cant use the rom 10 so i got a funcard4.I used rst to generate my.hex then used my minisdk to program the funcard4 using their software in advanced mode.I put my hex in memory data (base code) and the rst supplied n*l int ep hex in internal Eeprom data (base code) then hit DO IT..i the put the funcard4 in my stb and get preview channel only all the rest say you are not subscribed I've read so many different help pages and threads i'm not sure if i'm coming or going now.

When i use rst i've tried putting my nagra serial/ird in backwards and forwards makes no odds.when i make the funcard with the minidsk software there are several boxes that are checked/unchecked i've left them at default is this wrong???? What else could i be doing wrong?? The last funcard4 i made i went into the engineers menu and the serial code was right but on page 7 the card status says not paired?? Anyone got any ideas wtf i'm doing wrong please....

Update just tried again using the distance method still no good

Try the cable and wireless file if NTL does not work. It fixed it for me

if page 7 is saying 'not paired' i would guess that the BK is wrong or inputted incorrectly.

After i've programmed the funcard should i be able to read it using nagraedit and minisdk???? I cant.... Also has anyone ever gotten a false boxkey using the database??? It begin with 96 EE

if its in the datbse then it will be the correct bk

nagraedit is for reading rom cards not funcards.

what i meant by wrong BK is that you may have mixed the numbers or something, or if doing 2 cards at once muddle them up.

i dont recall anyone getting a 'not paired' message from a funcard.

or try different hexes that may help.

try using mulitprog 090 to do your funcard (dont know if it will make a difference, but you never know)

Just a quick add-on question if You have wrong BK what will show up in eng.menu??
not paired ...please wait....????
The reason I ask is the IRD I have are not in DB I pulled BK from MOSC and still only get BBC1&2..And 2-3 other Channels!!!
The rest are blank???:$:

have you made sure the mosc is still 'live' and check the rights.

Update tried various settings in clanzers minisdk 2.3 and now card status is ok

but still only getting preview channels no fta's or anything also got �130 credit for ppv now lol

Just tried the c/w hex and now i get bbc2,3,news24 and itv1 nothing else except the preview channels. If i put the original rom10 back in i get all the subbed/fta channels and radio stations any more ideas please??? Cheers

if you have done the card correctly, which it sounds like you have then im guessing its a false bk on the mosc.

Could there be something wrong with the hex i'm using?? i'm in ntl area but it used to be cw.I've tried rst with both ntl and cw hex but only the cw gives my any channels...The bk came from the database so should be right, and the ird came from engineers menu and scart socket so that should be right...I'm confused
