Rs232?

I mind reading a while back that there would be a way to read the box info via RS232 cable instead of taking out chips and reading em...any news on this??........(is it the MAX232 mod I dont know much about)

Yes mate ... the max232 works cos i made one. Use the search function at the top and you will find all the same info that i found

I seen somwhere that u can use the cable supplied with the elvis programmer to connect 2 box u know about that?

No mate .. but i've seen something about using a nokia phone lead ..... didn't try it myself as i had a spare serial extension and cut the end off, connected up the max232 and reset a 4000 box
