Juventus v Milan

Just got back from the game, to say i'm gutted would be an understatement, but fair does to Milan, who i thought were the better team on the night :cheese:

Luckily i fancied Milan to win the cup when i watched them earlier in the competition and had a tidy sum on them at 9-1

Alls well that ends well

Poor game even poorer penalties however pleased for Clarence Sedorf a player who i rated at least four years ago, three winners medals with diferent clubs.............................

that was utter crap as a spectacle for european footy... what a nothing game... shame...

didnt even watch half of it. shouldve expected it, being all italian etc.

saw the extra time and penalties though and what a disgrace they were. the one where dida moved off his line before (think it was montero) player took it shouldnt of been allowed.

anyway, milan are euro champions until next season

agree with major about the stadium though

Talk about killing a beautiful game. The Itailian's have managed to show the world that you can grind out a result and win things, whithout looking good.

I am quite glad to see AC win it, but that tosser Inzaghi needs a slap. Does he not comprehend the offside rule?

Goes to show why channel 4 fcuked the Italian footy off and eurosport bought the rights for two bob. Apparently their season started two weeks late this year because of television coverage problems............................................

Can sense a lot of sour grapes in some of the comments posted.
How many decent finals in any competition can you remember?

Probably the best final i've ever seen was Liverpool V Alaves.

With so much at stake its not surprising there was a lot of negativity.

dont think it was sour grapes, 2 years (or was it 3?) back scum provided a highly entertaining final, if the final had been scum vs real this time i'm sure that would have been an exciting final.

also the ZZ goal in last years was a peach, something to remember

I was hoping for a Juve win and an exciting game however the press speculation that it would be a wash out so far as the actual game was concerned were proved right no sour grapes m8 just facts as for "negativity" from what i've read thats what the seri A is built on at the moment hence TV stations reluctance to bid for the games..................................................

I can only go on what i read m8 because as i have said the seri A is no longer shown in this country due to poor viewing figures

I dont want to get involved in a slanging match with you m8 but if what you say is true, then why isn't the Spanish league (which is supposedly the best) shown on mainstream tv? or for that matter the german or french?

The truth is that british fans are used to fast attacking football and no other country has footy like that, so please dont slag off italian footy, believe me when i'm in Italy, bars and suchlike are packed out with fans, and footy viewing figures in Italy are extremely healthy, OK

sky bought the rights for the spanish league and show 2-3 live games evey week

that is pretty much how many english games they show

how many italian games do they show???

Italy can boast the best defensive league, please feel free to harp on about your rather unexiting defensive qualites all you want and if itallians are prepared to pay �400 a year to watch liverpool v liverpool type games then thats up to them

i will say that juve are the exception to the rule as they attack with as much flair as the best of them but look where that got them last wednesday

unarguabally the most exciting footy is Spain and England, and then maybe holland

Since when is Sk* mainstream tv? For example the best viewed shows on terrestial tv(eastenders, etc) get 15 to 20 million viewers, Sk*'s best figures are in the 1 to 2 million mark.
And also if you count Eurosports total european viewing audience then italian footy's viewing figures are comparable!

We're just going round and round here m8, you got your opinion and i've got mine

cant see how you can even talk about live league football shown in england from any league and not call sky mainstream

especially when u bear in mind they are the "ONLY" chanel that shows live league games
