    Default airbag

    i have got a ford escort 1.8 diesel van N reg 1996 and the airbag light is flashing is just a electial fault or a problem with the airbag :oneeye: :oneeye:

    had the same problem with my M reg Esscot and got advised to Disconnect the battery for half a hour and should work fine after that

    see if that helps

    it flashes 4 times and then a slight pause and so on

    anfield2601 I had the same problem with mine........its caused by a bad earth on the electrics.......I took it to a dealer and all he did was pull up a panel just beside the drivers door...just under the carpet.... a cable is feed to a bolt.....he just tightened it up....happy days airbag light gone.

    nope still no good i think that airbag light is going to piss me off :oneeye: :oneeye: :oneeye:
