Weh Hay....A PDA section!

I have a Zaurus 5500 and until very recently I regarded it as a rather expensive MP3 player - Last week I d/l the new Sharp ROM and flashed and its a whole new machine - faster, more stableand genrally easier.

Plus its LINUX based which is an instant 1Million Geek points

I've just smashed the screen on mine. I loved the little chap. He wasn't even a year old!

I phoned Sharp to order a new one but they won't sell to punters plus they want £32 to look at it then £30 if you refuse the estimate all plus postage. What a joke - a new one is only £230.

I'm either going to try and contact the screen manufacturer direct or just give up and wait until the 5600 comes out.

Yes I (somehow) smashed the screen and I'm skint at the mo. I do have a new Nokia 3650 to play with for the moment though.
