If you have a bit of cash, another excellent program is Anton Tomov's Pocket Hack Master - The XScale overclocking applet and general tweaks are extremely useful, as is the scale function (automatically adjusts the speed of the ipaq, depending on how you are using it - slowing it down when idle to save battery, and overclocking when you are doing something requiring more power).
