DF Pool Competition - Round Two

Ok, well done to everybody who won their first round game, this is where it gets abit harder. Here are the fixtures for the second round:

Game 1: Cam -v- maverick_15
Game 2: ParadoX -v- xdam
Game 3: Spike2k1 -v- lynchy
Game 4: Chip2k -v- way2gud4u
Game 5: Detector -v- gunner
Game 6: Robbie Vox -v- kjun
Game 7: bean_2k1 -v- neo2810
Game 8: tips -v- Gunny

All matches should be played by 17th June. It is up to you guys to arrange the matches with each other. When the match has been played, post the result in this thread.
This round will be best of 3 frames again, although this will be increased in the next rounds.
Quarters = Best of 5 frames, Semis = Best of 7 frames and the Final = Best of 9 frames.

First result

Neo2810 vs bean_2k1

Round 1: Both potting like a couple of invalides (no offense to the mobilely challenged) but I managed to find some form at the end to whip down my last 4 balls and then miss 4 or 5 black shots till (both on black) bean left it over the pocket for me

... Round 1 to neo

Round 2: Bean stormed ahead while I missed easy pots, and looked like a pleb. Bean got down to his last ball and potted it well, but unfortunately took the black down in the process... This gave me the match, but we both agreed to play the last game for fun anyway.

Round 3: Better standard by me, and I managed to clear up in the end, narrowly beating Bean...

Personally, I think Bean played better pool on the day, and was unlucky not to give me a thrashing (I was shit

).. guess that's life!

Game one: Took Det to the cleaners and he was in awe with my ability, missed a tough shot on the black, and det managed to luck out and take the game.

Game two: Shite, shite, shite by me - but not helped by the fact Det was bargaining fir pubes the whole game and it distracted me.

nicely thru to round 3 with a 2-1 win over kjun. Easy 1st frame but then a suberb comeback by j00n on the 2nd and then a close 3rd whcih i managed to edge.

Spike2k1 Vs Lynchy

Round 1: Off to a slow start with what looks like a one horse race, lynchy doing well then I decide to play and end up clearing up the balls and leaving him with one ball left b4 I potted the black....

round 2: Good start, both playing well... lynchy starts steaming off looking for a win... Somehow, unknown to man i clean up my last couple of balls and pull the flukeiest shot to pot black...

We played a couple more games afterwards.. I won first he won second due to that fucked up rule....

Anyway... We're gonna play again next week when he aint so knackered... and use that score as the final match score to decide next round place etc. so just posting this to i dunno kill time maybe....
