well would they really, if they did then there mind works in a strange way, i you hoasted up a flag saying "ni**ers go home" or similar then that would be racist. the flags got absolutely nothing to do with racism, fuckin idiot, what a twat.

The idea is fine in principle but the design is all wrong. As far as I can see the blue and red people of this country as still massively over represented. Perhaps we could use a system of proportional representation and update the flag at each census.

i read this somewhere lastnight. Im glad someone has posted it here so i can say what a FU(KING STUPID idea it is.

The flag has been in existence for years, and when it was thought up, it was a cross between the flags of britain, eg scotland, england, wales. The white was not put there because there was mostly white people in the country. I hate political correctness, what a heap of piss made up so the protestors can say that they have a valid point.

Whats next, changing the colour of milk!

I have had a look but I could not see anything taken from the Iraqui flag or the Afghan one so I am thinking that is is not a fair representation of our nation as a whole.

at the end of the day my flag is the george cross - the only one i will ever fly bar my team colours. this is insane adding black to represent multi-culturalism. the white bits dont represent white people, what they gonna do next, add a touch of yellow for the chinese?

i'm not in the slightest racist (so long as assylum doesnt come into it, but thats a different matter) - why change the flag if it's neutral already, it symbolises what United Kingdom means, nothing more, nothing less.

fcukin stupidity and PC goes too far once more.

Leave it as it is and thats it. The statement about there is no black in the Union jack bollox, well there is no people in the UK that are Red or Blue in colour either ?!?

The Union Jack (called as it was originally to be flow from a Jack mast on a ship) is a combination of countries flags and had nothing to do with Race but Nationality. If you are black, brown white, whatever and you are British, then the flag is ok, it stands for you, thats it. Why change ?? cause they have nothing better to do or to spend money on ? fcuk knows?
