Hi,
I have Backed up Nightfire to HDD and it runs fine, But when sticking it onto DVD I get the
"There's a problem with the disk you're using. It may be dirty or damaged"
Does anyone have any ideas?
Many thanks

How are you burning it and what with?? More INFO please
Hi Prodigy,
I am loading to the HDD with PX HDD 1.1a
and this works ok
Then FTP'ing the box and pulling the entire directory down to my PC's local Hard drive with Flash FXP.
I generate an XISO with Craxtion version 2.0 ( Ihave used this for all my previous games without problem)
I then Burn the Disk with Nero Express 5.5.10.28 OEM (again same as always.
The error message is in the same type face as the game so the disk is being read and the box is working out that it is a backup.
Any Ideas
Best Regards

yeah for some reason this game is very fussy..
make sure ur dvd media has no dirt blemish at all...i finnaly got it working but ur dvd can't have any dirt on it at all

John
I have now burned it three times.
Each is a Brand new Datasafe Yellow top (these have been used for all of my backups)
There are no fingermarks or visible marks on the disks but still the same error.
I have tried the disks in my Ver 1.1 with Samsung drive and
My daughters 1.2 and a bit (green box) with a phillips drive as well as
my neighbours 1.0 and thompson drive. all give the same problem.
Someone please help, because if this carries on, soon it may be cheaper to buy another real one and that would just hurt my pride!
Thanks

what speed r u writing at?
try for the slowest speed
John
I am burning at 2x This is as slow as the NEC 1300a Burner I am using will go.
I have just tried generating an XISO with XISO115 but this gives the same problem.
What is realy confusing me is that I loaded the copied game onto the HDD to see what would happen, and the New HDD version gives the same error.
Does any one want half a dozen expensive coasters?
Some one must have an idea
Please help

FTP the WORKING copy from you Xbox Hd to your PC making sure ALL files transfer correctly. Then just burn them to the ROOT of a UDF 128 disc with Stomp RecordNowMAX @ 2X MAX (1X would be better, Stomp RecordNowMAX should allow you to burn @ 1X).
If you have a DVD-RW then you should test on that.

Finally Managed it!
I downloaded the Stomp Software and it worked like a charm.
Thanks Prodigy
Kids will stop bugging me now.
