      Keep getting a popup on my screen even if explorer isnt open..

      "THIS IS A MESSAGE FROM COMPUTER TO YOU"

      basically advertising some popup stopper from www.byebyeads.com

      I already have popup stopper pro installed..

      How can I stop this from appearing...

      tried everything on there..

      still getting this annoying popup how do I configure norton firewall to block it..

      With WindowsXP/2000 if you stop the Messenger Service OS component, it stops this happening.

      Make sure NetBIOS is blocked.
      Go shagging in Prague or live it large in Vegas !!
