Libdebug no info

Here's where I'm up to.

Got a 2000 NTL box with ROM 10.
MiniSDK

I live in a TW area.

I've been using the superduper helpfiles.co.uk and now got to the Libdebug stage. I've tried libdebug, using the fullTW cfg file, available else where.

When I enter the location of the file and press OK, nothing happens. What I am doing wrong? It's got me totally stumped.

Any pointers anyone!

Make sure you're using the right comm port

I've tried both, libdebug and getboxinfo and nothing. The cable is working fine because my miniSDK works fine.

The box seams to work ok, It powers up and says that my card needs to be checked, but this shouldn't effect me geting info via the serial port, or should it.

Any ideas as to why it won't work. I'm using XP, so it should configure anything that's needs resetting.

Hi hatstand,
When I tried with my 4001 I had to connect the cable, launch libdebug and the power the box on. I then loaded a config and I it worked

Thanks cyclops69, you were right it works by first setting libdebug and then powering up the box. A beer is in the post.

I have followed the directions for changing the tw.cfg file NetIdnumbers, as per helpfiles.co.uk. (thank you) But when i press the Set Network ID (Execute) then theGet Network ID and (Execute) the original number comes up.

This is what I changed in the tw.cfg.

:Network ID
Set Network ID ntl
406141060
Set Network ID
4061***** <<<<<<I changed the last five digits
Get Network ID
4010

I'm in a TW area is there anything else I need change. I'm getting there, but still need a helping hand. So any help would be appreciated.
