im having a play with this soft on a hdd that has had nt on it and now has xp would encase be able to recover nt stuff any tips?? also dose the wipe function clean the drive fully?? i know what was on the drive before xp so after hearing all sorts of stuff about how most data can be recovered i wanna personally put it to the testthankyou.
what version are you running? - it does XP too.

Most of the forensics guys I know (including some who are working on Op ORE stuff) are still using 3. Some have have tried 4 and found that it wasnt as thorough as 3. This was a couple of months ago.
