Road safety

I see on the Telly and hear on the Radio loads of adverts telling drivers to "slow down" and "watch out for that child" which is a great thing as we all drive to fast anyway, but what has happened to the adverts telling kids how to cross the road correctly? In my day it was Alvin Stardust, Kevin Keegan and Dave Prowse(green cross code man, Darth Vader for those to young to remember).
Surely if there was a major celeb like Beckham involved in this kids might look right,look left,look right agian looking and listening all the way across!!!!......is it just me or have i missed something?????

would be a good idea, because kids today (me sounding like an 80yr old

) just bomb out and expect cars to screech to a halt so they can cross. grr

I only used knobneck Beckham as an example!! but any celeb kids look up to would do, Can you imagine Ozzy Osbourne teaching kiddys to use the green cross code...that i`d like to see..
