    Default Foxtel cfg files?

    Hi all,
I am from Australia and I have just finished reading the excellent tutorial on all the different cable boxes, ROM cards and card programmers that dataferret and a few others compiled.

    My question is this:
We have Foxtel in Australia does anyone know what boxes they use and is it just a matter of unlocking the card to obtain all the channels using a funcard programmed by Elvis? with a foxtel.cfg file?

Are there any aussies on this site who have looked into this.?

Sorry for the dumbass questions just getting started in this.

    Cheers

You wasted your time on reading about this encryption, as Foxtel uses a different encryption altogether - Irdeto2 - which has not yet been broken into.

Foxtel and Optus are still using Irdeto 1 and both systems have gold cards availiable for them, i was looking into this a while ago for family in perth, but nobody would give any info, they ended up buying a card for about $90.
