Off to the south of france

Hi all, ok, here's the scenario, i am going to tour quite a bit of france, north - middle and south for about a year, i will be travelling with my Laptop and mobile phone ( so i can download new codes if needed and program my own cards, but i also want to watch a variety of english speaking channels like all our terrestrial channels and also home and leisure, discovery, ppv i am not interested in the sprort channels or porn etc etc, now firstly is this possible and what dish, LNB & Box will i need, i am quite i am assuming will need a dish around a metre, please help as i want to get away within the month if poss, cheers guys.
