well said davy m8,i think some parts of the forum's should be closed untill ppl reach a certain post count.it is on another forum that i am on and it work's!! the genuine ppl stay about and get there post count up and help ppl leachers just dissaper.i trhink you know wot forum im taking about davy m8 do you find it work's?? speccy know's aswell.i think its work's well and is a good option

i aint no leech or noob.

ive been using net since it come about, and put in a lot more than i have ever took.

im not coming on here to get hack then dissapear, if that was the case. why am i still here?
Also just a little point , i aint new to modding or using forums, there is nothing worse than a fuckin leech, this is why i run monitors in shareware programs to stop fuckers leeching and sharing nothing..

the point was ill say again , you said pm me for guide. i wouldnt know how long that meant for, only u knows that.. but u could of answered my icq and said sorry i aint got it anymore or even posted in that post.

if anyone needs advice or s/w then giz a shout im always willing not just when i feel like it...

i would like the s/w myself , to be honest im waiting on some units from a old pal... i will be asking him about the com s/w . you do have my word on this and i aint going knowhere, ill be on this forum untill im booted or dead... no hard feelings davey .. be coool man.

ill help as much as i can.

and i aint to bad with pc hardware and s/w toolz.

im 33 and pulled my first radio apart at 6 year old..

Well i've been informed .. by my old pall at ntl.. that there are running out of boxes.. infact they are tarting up old reclaimed boxes .. and calling them phaze1 and 2 .. units allready ac3 and bo8.

Hes says he dosent no how long the tarted units will last, then they willl have to buy new ones again.. as said before new 4010.. can be read using libdebug for the boxkey.. i've had 2 off him..and i'm the best loved son and brother to my mom and sis..

well, not taking ANY sides here, but....

i was surprised to see that thread back on top the other day.
any guides were around a long time ago (ie jan/feb). if someone was to read the WHOLE thread they would find out the pogress from the lead post. most times the thread results in all the info you need. also it being 6 months ago, if THAT 'guide' was still around it would be ,no doubt, out of date, as a lot would/has been learnt since then. as we now know the original dates on the tutorials were wrong and needed changing recently (just as an example).

most peeps on here DO help very willingly. if they dont they may have a good reason not to. and the usual reply to many questions seems to be to READ/DO A SEARCH. i edorse this wholeheartedly. as you also need back ground to your particular problem.

davey26 has helped me in the past and i have SEEN him help lots more. (not buttkissing). i fully understand his view (given the date of the 'guide')
maybe its been a bad week for some so lets all kiss and make up huh??!!

I've just been on the phone to him.. they are as follows di4001 and d4010 u can tell the new phaze models by the tops .. where the vents are on a orignal box the new ones have vent holes all over them ..

They all have been upgraded both the box and the cards Rom11's.

I've also herd a rumor if true that ntl are offering 70 quid for the return of there own boxes ? not sure if its a scam.. how can u offer 70 quid.. and on the back is a label stating whos property it is..

Lets hope its not a sign that ntl are going to get tuff. on thease mods. and do somthing really unfriendly .....

what like?

ntl have always tried to collect and refubish the old boxes with new facias,a �2 front and respray has always made good buissness sence rather than spending another �250 per new box,i have heard that pace are in financal difficulty tho,and yes the new recycled boxes have never paired rom11s with them but not all have the full open top grill only models that need it replaced after scratching or dents,the 4010 is fully do-able and its only one chip to read,so less work todo.
as for a reward its always their property and if your in possession of it without it being supplyed by ntl/tw then its stolen property even if u have bought it as the vendor had no legal right to claim it as his/hers to sell or pass it on,but who cares lol

wasent aware they had been doing the rebfubished ones.. only giving the inside info as i gets it .. old maybe but better old news than no news..

Rom11 are bo8 also.. Rom10 ac3 . so its a none starter . for the simple approach..

i'm aware also there still do-able.. but the new never streamed ones give out the info ..(libdebug style) no need to lift.. read and replace.. thus simple to us noobs.. and heavy handed on the hot air gun..
