For 5 days only there is a crazy sale on in the bullring centre Birmingham , the dixons store is selling tingz for HALF PRICE , yes half price, ie playstaion2 with eye toy etc for �84 etc�� it only lasts 5 days all tv's digi cams etc HALF PRICE ......

Steady on, there are some good deals on but most of them are of the type of "The first 40 sold per day are at special price". (and the place opens at 7am would you believe!!!!!!!)

I am nipping down tomorrow, so I'll report if the said offers are getable (words are us).

A mate told me that she was in there today at about 11am and they had about 9 xboxes left (of the daily cheap batch) but they were only �30 cheaper than retail ( �99 )

All I can say is....

"Forget it"

I got there at 6:50am this morning (on the way to work)

There were about 500 people queuing outside the shopping centre waiting to get into dixons.

Then I realised there was another large queue inside the shopping centre (the queue outside was forming outside because there were too many people inside and they preventing people going inside!)

As I said before, most of the offers are of the "first 40 per day"... So it seems this one is just for sado overnight campers only!

Errr, somehow, I dont think so rudey.

Firstly the 17" tft's were only �200 and secondly you were only allowed one special offer item per customer. So u must have been camping out for 4 days out of the 5.

2nice u are very clever , but just to point out a few things to you :
1) i didnt go alone (so i had 2 vouchers, and another friend without a voucher )
2) have u ever heard of making friends checkout staff ?
and finally have u ever heard or the word ''blagging''
i got the ps2 and 28'' widey first ,then asked a very nice chap who was processing my order to chuck in another 17'' widescreen tft tv which he did , then went to checkout and got another one by telling the girl at the checkout that i had given my voucher for the tft to one of the sales staff all she said was '' thats the second time he's done that today and got me another

, now if u dont belive me i couldnt really give a #### , coz i got everything here (apart from 28'' widey they have to deliver that ) i only really went to buy the laptops , but wasnt early enough
