My Hunt for #1 No Solder Modchip for the Xbox

Helloe,
My name is Scott and recently aquired a Sony DRU-510a +-DVD Burner. DVD X Copy Xpress is the bomb. It does all I require by copying movies w/ perfect quality with quickness and ease. I can only hope my second project might be as rewarding. I want to mod my Xbox, I want to make succesful copies of my Xbox games, I want to still be X-box Live accessible, and I do not want to have to pick up a sodering iron. Can this quest be completed? Can we save more, spend lees, and avoid getting ripped off? Will we find the true path to game Cloning Glory? Can we make it?:nowords:

You may as well go for the Xecuter 2.2 lite, and have it soldered if you aren't competent. I hear lots of people who use the no solder lite + but still have problems.

The Xbox is really easy to solder anyway, use the header install method and use the alternative D0 underneath.

no solder chips suck in my opinion . The difference in price you pay can be easily used to get a fitter to solder it for you.

x2 lite is always a good choice. :thumbs

See my previous post X2 lite pitfalls" for my recent experience with installing a mod chip.

I know what you are thinking, but the no solder mod chip is really not ideal.

If you remover your xbox Mother board, all you have to do is take the M/b, a "header pin" thing and one wire to an electronic shop and ask em to solder the 10(ish) solder points - should only cost a few quid (much less than a pinless mod anyway)

if soldering isnt really an option and you don't want to use xbox live, why not use a conductive ink pen and join the jumpers on the mobo, enabling you to flash the onboard bios?

just a thought...
