Default Analog Cable Box Chip Diagrams

    Guys,

I picked up an old Jerrold 550 analog reciever.

Now I'v got a copy of Hexgen 4 to create the chip and a programmer
    and all that.

The problem is I cant seem to find any diagrams on how / where to fit it and im not sure if I need to do a reset from my pc with some cable
    you can make up ?

So have any of you guys got some info on this ?

The box model number is IDPBB7316/210/R2

    Cheers,

    oE.

    Hey mate,

I'd be interested to see what you've done there. We have got digital cable in our house but I have got an old GI - CFT 2100 analoge box that I'd like to chip just to get the free analoge in my room (which is still the same feed right?)

    cheers, T

thanks for the invite, maybe I'll do that

nah i want to keep the box really. I just want to know the cheapest way to chip it (the external boxes are expensive)

and want to know that when we get digital cable, the analoge feed will still be there too?

maybe u could write the chip for me for a small charge??

    cheers, Tom

Yesh mate digital and analogue are sent down the same cable to all you`ll need to do is buy the right splitters and coax to send it wherever it needs to go.
