NTL Engineer Wot Buttons pressed
hi am ntl engineer came out to supply me with a new box as my old one wouldnt work 100% when he was setting it up he pressed sum buttons on the remote to bring up an menu screen i think he had 3 buttons pressed at once to get to it but i didnt see wot they were any one any ideas
unplug and plug back in with up and down buttons held in

the amount of ppl ive seen post their intro in the middle of a seperate thread or as a new thread in incorrect forums is unreal.

Theres a reason why people are posting up introductions halfway in the screen and all over the place its because its not clear enough on this forum. For instance ive come directly to this DigitalTV forum from another website.
I did not know an Introductionary section existed and would not have seen it amongst half a dozen forums anyhow on the main page.
You can if you want to avoid problems like this, provide a Sticky on top or in Block capitals on the top of this forum, suggest people go introduce themselves first, or say Newbies plz introduce yourselfs here first and then URL Link to the Introductionary section.

well if you look at the very top of the main page (which is what most ppl see first after registering and signing in) ull notice the in the first few sections a part entitled thusly:

Introduce Yourself

Yeap hard to notice, I just scrolled down straight to these forums like im sure most have done.
Maybe if u would like a freindly suggestion, make it so its on the top section so its not ignored and also make it bigger font and bolder

you people havin a pop at marcode, youve been here 5 mins and think you know him, if you DID know him youd know not to get to upset at his post, its just his way of telling you youve made a mistake.
as for being able to write a book about him, then thats just total pishy wishy, so now youve been told you learned your mistake there is no need for anyone else to but in now with thier 1p worth.
and it IS quite easy to find your way to the intro section actually
