I have a problem with this game as in it locks up as soon as it gets to the title menu.

I've looked all over the net and the only thing i found is it says that game doesn't support the Radeon 9600pro.

Has anyone else had this problem or know of a work around

Did you try to patch it? You could aslo try to install Zero Hour (the expansion) and see if they fixed that bug.

C&C Generals - Zero Hour crashes at the menu. I have Radeon 9600Pro which works great with most other games except Operation Flashpoint Resistance - crashes after a few minutes (tried version 1.91 and 1.94 beta)

Maybe time for yet another new video card?

i had the same probably when trying to run it on me laptop it froze i had to wait about a minutre i think and all i had to was click the mouse or press a key i cant remember but thats how it worked on mine

upgrade to the 3.9's the 3.8's despite all the advantages to FPS's they suck at RTS and especially hate the Sage Engine, just install the 3.9's and ya laughing BTW 9600=crap

I don't think you will need a new graphics card, as I only have a geforce 2 and C&C works fine on mine..

It did have a habbit of crashing whenever I was playing online games, but then I installed the expansion pack and it has worked fine ever since (untill I got bored of it and deleted it)

I have the same problem m8, it worked fine the first two times i played it, however after that it started to crash after 5mins in the game, then 3mins in game, now it won't even let me click once.

I have downloaded all updates for the game and my computer, but it seem not to like my graphics card. (9600pro)

But i have 2 hard drives, the main one with Win_xp, that 1 crash on start and win98 which allow me to play over 10mins

EA don't even seem to care about the problem, i have sent number of e-mail to them.

SteveP defo a problem with Resistance doe snot work on 9600xt aswell, hope they sort in a ptch im missing resistance so bad

I uninstalled the game, then deleted what the game left, reinstalled the game, got the update to work (had to do this 3 time untill it downloaded the patch). It working

........................... but for how long? i have to wait untill Friday to test the game out. (note i don't have much time during the weekdays)
