On a side note, with respect to the confusion over the recent Tiger Woods 2004
releases -- We see this question countless times a day regarding NTSC and PAL,
what works, what doesn't, why some work, why some don't. Unlike other console
systems, XBox games are typically not set for a specific region, but instead
it's the XBox region settings itself that determine the display output.
Therefore, NTSC games work on PAL boxes, and vice-versa. However, there are
some exceptions with certain game .xbe's being hardcoded to display output from
the framebuffer specifically in one of the two formats. This is why some games
like Dakar 2 PAL, and of course Tiger Woods for instance, won't work on an NTSC
box, unless you change modes via your dash, or use the Enigmah Video Mode
Select Disc. You'll also of course require a multi-format monitor. Without a
multi-format tv, all you'll end up getting is a black & white flickering screen.
