Not quite sure what the hell im talking about..Just nod and i mite shut up......

Drive firmware & ASPI are two different things mate, what exactly are you trying to achieve here?
Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it
i think your looking for aspi drivers but let me warn you with xp aspi can cause problems so id make a restore point before installing it, you can find aspi from the adaptec site.
