    hi -

    I currently subscribe to telewest digital cable.
    could someone please refer me to a tutorial that explains how to get free/cheaper channels.
    im a total newbie at this cable lark.

    Use the search .. like u would on the net, type in keywords.. a list should come up with heaps of info.. m8ty. read read and read. coz if u dont u will find lots of members old and new who will slate u for it.

    Just keep a open mind. and a dont take to much notice of the trolls

    Yeh its the best way m8t because they are so many pitfalls and things that could happen you really need to get clued up before you start messing around.

    I killed 2 boxes learning lol

    Lots of good info for newbies on http://www.helpfiles.co.uk which should get you started M8. I have not updated the tutorials for a while but most of the gaps in knowledge can be answered on these forums here by asking "informed" questions. By this I mean read the helpfiles and forums, then note down things you do not understand, then ask the questions. People will be happy to help if you demonstrate you have made an effort to find the answers yourself first.

    i read your site over and over before i got started. there is soooo much info, everything xcellently presented.
    if read properly, won't have any problems modding a box
