Default Help to Use PC Power Supply (without any computer)

    Hi guys, thanx for lookin

Basically i want to wire up several fans to run from a PC power supply however
i dont want to have to have any other computer components plugged in.
The only thing i need to run is a fan speed controller and about 4 - 8 fans
using the PC power supply, what i am saying is can i wire the power supply
up so that i can put an On/Off switch on it and use it that way?

any help would be appreciated or if you know of another way of using
4 - 8 fans and control their speed without using the PC supply!

    thanx
You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.

You can wire an ATX power supply to be on without plugging it into a motherboard. Basically you bridge the green wire with one of the black wire (I used to use a paperclip and tape ).

There are several guides to this, but I used this if I remember right.
