There were rumours of a price drop to �99 due in October but there has been no official word yet.

Cheers for the reply m8 heard the same rumour just wondered if therre had been any follow up since sony has now reduced thier price for over 1 week and that this was the basis for any xbox price cut.

�150 Xmas Xbox bundle confirmed

However as we reported several weeks ago, a �150 Christmas bundle was said to have been announced to a small number of retailers at the X03 event in the South of France, and it's finally appeared on Amazon.co.uk, who are selling it for �139.99 - �10 less than the RRP.

looks like were gettin bundles rather than cheap consoles

damn I was wanting a cheap xbox forget the bundle lol I already have a cough cough mod xbox cough cough so was looking for a second to play live and use as a second dvd unit without modding it.

Cost of the part and then �30 to fit if it needs soldered. got an executer lite 2.1. Not been on live yet as I am not sure on jumper settings on that chip and cant be bothered opening up box or leaving box lid off all the time.

whoever is chargin you 30 quid to fit a switch is rippin you off, all you need do is put a break (via a simple switch) in the ground / D0 connection and with the switch open the machine will boot as if its unmodded for live play

theres no need to cough cough either, mod talk is allowed
